We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer (UX) who wants to design at that level of impact.
About the role
This is not a role for someone who polishes interfaces after decisions are already made.
This is a role for someone who helps shape what gets built, by understanding user behavior, identifying the right problems, and designing experiences that create meaningful outcomes for both listeners and the business.
At Podme, great design helps people discover content they love, continue listening effortlessly, and build habits around premium podcasts and audio experiences.
What you’ll do
As a Senior Product Designer (UX), you will:
Design intuitive and delightful mobile experiences across iOS and Android
Create seamless listening and viewing experiences around premium podcasts
Frame product opportunities through user behavior, motivation, and outcomes
Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Analysts, and stakeholders across the company
Use research, experimentation, and data to validate decisions and improve experiences continuously
Help shape product direction, not just interface execution
You’ll be especially focused on
Designing for habits and continuation
You’ll design experiences that:
Reduce friction and cognitive load
Help users discover content they genuinely care about
Make continuation feel effortless across moments and devices
Create clear and coherent journeys across listening and discovery
Make Podme feel like a natural part of everyday routines
Framing the right problems
You’ll:
Use research and behavioral data to identify where the experience breaks down
Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand opportunities and constraints
Turn insights into clear product direction, hypotheses, and design principles
Focus on user outcomes before interface solutions
Driving continuous discovery and learning
You’ll:
Participate actively in research and insight work
Prototype and validate ideas early
Run research experiments and iterate based on real behavior, not assumptions
Help teams learn faster and make better product decisions
Designing for clarity, trust, and premium experiences
You’ll help create experiences where:
Navigation and continuation feel effortless
Users feel confident in their choices
The value of premium content is consistently clear
Audio and video experiences feel seamless across contexts and devices
Working as a true product partner
You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to:
Identify friction and opportunities
Prioritize the most meaningful problems
Validate outcomes through experiments and behavioral metrics
Ensure experiences are scalable, feasible, and impactful
Together, you share accountability for user outcomes, not just delivery.
Contributing to a stronger design culture
You’ll:
Raise the bar for UX thinking, systems design, and product craft
Help evolve how we design adaptive and AI-supported experiences
Contribute to a culture where design drives measurable impact, not just output
This position will report to the UX Manager at Podme.

Who you are
You have strong experience in product design for mobile products (iOS and Android)
You think in systems, flows, and user journeys, not just individual screens
You are comfortable working with ambiguity and helping shape direction
You use research and data to inform and challenge decisions
You collaborate naturally across disciplines and involve stakeholders early
You care deeply about user outcomes, product quality, and business impact
Bonus points if you have
Experience with audio, video, or subscription products
Experience designing recommendation or discovery experiences
Experience working with AI-driven or adaptive systems
Strong understanding of behavioral metrics and retention
